I can’t think of anything more enjoyable on a dreary winter’s day than getting out my paints and brushes and creating
something beautiful.

I am a late starter. I attended an art course at Cirencester College 8 years ago with no more intention than to possibly learn something new. I had always enjoyed being creative but, with far from perfect vision, had been restricted in what I could achieve. After life changing eye surgery, I now have near perfect vision and a whole new world has opened up for me.

I am happy to paint anything that inspires me, from flowers through fast jets to animals. Recently I have been successfully concentrating on commissions of peoples’ pets, particularly dogs: a challenge but very satisfying.
