Highworth Artists' Society

Our Demonstrations, Exhibitions, Workshops and Meetings are held in the  Community Room, Council Offices, 3 Gilbert’s Lane, Highworth, Swindon, Wilts.

Workshops for members are held each Tuesday with 2 sessions – one in the morning from 10am to 12.00pm and then in the afternoon from 12.00pm to 2pm. Each session costs £3. Associate members are invited to come along during the afternoon
sessions.

Diary of Events
18 July 26 - Open Morning 9.30am to 12.30pm. Eight of our members will be in the Community room to paint and show their work. Come along to see how they work and chat to them. There will be paintings and cards for sale. Refreshments will be available with proceeds going to The Prospect Hospice.

11 Aug 26 – Plein Air morning at Coleshill – Members only

15 Sept 26 – Plein Air morning at either Hannington or Highworth Council Golf Course – Members only

3 to 10 Oct 2026 - Autumn Exhibition 2026.  Opening hours 10am to 4pm each day

At planning stages:

31 Oct 26 – Pen and watercolour wash workshop for beginners. This workshop is back as we had a great response to the one held in May. Details
soon.

7 Nov 26 – Pen and watercolour wash follow up session. This will first be advertised to participants from the May workshop and depending on spaces open to improvers in watercolour.
