Highworth Artists' Society

Our Demonstrations, Exhibitions, Workshops and Meetings are held in the Community Room, Council Offices, 3 Gilbert’s Lane, Highworth, Swindon, Wilts. SN6 7FB.

Workshops for members are held each Tuesday with 2 sessions – one in the morning from 10am to 12.30pm and then in the afternoon from 12.30pm to 3pm. Each session costs £3. Associate members are invited to come along during the afternoon sessions.

3 Dec 2024 – Workshop and Christmas Buffet - (for members only)
In the morning workshop we will all be given a section of a famous painting to copy and the tiles will be joined together after lunch. We did this last year and we were amazed how well each piece fitted and how good it was!

Christmas Buffet. The ‘bring and share’ lunch will start at 12.30pm.

24 and 31 Dec 2024 - Workshops will be closed.

7 Jan 2025 - Workshops reopen

15 Jan 2025 to 26 Mar 2025 – Watercolour Essentials Class (details here)
This course is now fully booked but you can go onto a waiting list. Tutor Hilary Sinclair. Dates of classes are: 15 Jan, 29 Jan, 12 Feb, 26 Feb, 12 Mar and 26 Mar.

21 Jan 2025 - Pastel Demo with Clive Eastland - 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Clive will be painting a seascape. Entrance - £5 for visitors

 

28 Jan 2025 – Tuesday afternoon ‘Help’ Session – 1pm to 3pm – for members only
