I have been interested in painting for many years, but it was not until I retired that I had time to develop this hobby.

 

I am a member of a number of several local art groups including Highworth, Lydiard Millicent, Purton  and the Guild of Wiltshire Artists where I regularly exhibit paintings.

 

Although I initially concentrated on water colours which are my first love, more recently I have begun to experiment with a wider variety of mediums including pastel pencils (mainly for animal portraits), soft pastels and acrylics. I love texture and enjoy trying to include this in many of my paintings.
