Profile - Roger R. Jones

 

Previously producer of BBC natural history films worldwide, I swapped that for fulltime professional painting in watercolours and oils. Filming and painting share the same disciplines.

I demonstrate in the UK, and offer attentive 1:1 tuition in oils or watercolours in my well equipped home studio in Lechlade; all materials provided. Recently over 15 years, I developed and led walking and painting holidays in Spain, Italy, Morocco and UK, as well as tutoring at Marlborough College Summer School each year.

Over the same period I contributed regularly to the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) annual exhibitions. Menena Schwabe Award for outstanding oil painting; also the RSMA.
